Last Night

Started by: ena malcup (4151)

I dreamed I was somewhere in the far Cuillins doing an intensely difficult rock climb.

When I awoke, I was totally sh.. out, sorry, exhausted.

Where had all the energy gone, to leave me feeling this way, when all the time, I was merely sleeping?

Funny. I dreamed a few days ago that My wife got a job as a bus driver, Silly that because she does't drive at all, , Any Road work started this morning on the conversion and I'm making up 2 benchseats for either side of the van which leaves a gap up the middle and after looking at many idea's on youtube, I've plumbed for a ' make it up as i go along' approach, bear in mind there is plenty time for , alterations, amendments and 'U' turns, I've also selected a fridge from Amazon and its £59 measuring 25cm wide x 29cm deep and 29 cm high and will fit in the bench seat area,It will work off 12 volts which will be sourced by our Sun via Tonkerton panels on the roof,

Disclaimer,, Although I'm not a wood butcher myself but. I know a 20 stone rugby player who will jump up and down on the timberwork before handing me a certificate of ' thas used reet nails liaaaake' and sign off the erection ( ohh err missus ) to British standards 656,

Ena:

I have the most unbelievable dreams, and I nearly always remember them, even years later with some.

The fact that you were rock climbing in your dream would, perhaps, have triggered adrenaline, even in sleep, which left you exhausted. Is that something you would do in reality, or did it come from nowhere? One explanation is that, for some reason, your conscious mind was finding your reality something of a "mountain to climb", so you chose to face it, and get "over" it, leaving something unpleasant behind you. That's just my interpretation, you understand, as I'm no expert, but there will be a logical explanation.

I woke up one morning and I was killing myself laughing, so loudly, that my husband thought I was ill. Thing was, on that occasion, I couldn't remember what I'd dreamed to make me laugh so much.

Let me know how you get on with that fridge Tom.
What model is it?

As someone who likes mih steaks I need to find a camping fridge too.

Dreams, eh. Really strange.

Some years back, not far from where I live, a gas boiler was stolen from industrial premises, and the resultant gas leak produced an explosion sufficient to demolish the building!

When police did their door to door, one asked, "Did you not hear the explosion"?

ME: "No, Well perhaps! I was asleep and dreamed that I was back in Vietnam, but at a time when the B52s were carpet bombing. I do recall a large explosion whilst we were sheltering under the bamboo". (Good protection as it acts like a lamellar armour, really impeding the transit of shrapnel/ flying projectiles)

I must have heard the sound, and my sleeping brain interpolated a context in front of it so that it was not an unexpected thing, and hence did not wake me. Strange stuff indeed!
